This is the one we plant at Home Farm Herbery and it is a winner as a truly great organic zucchini also known as Cucurbita pepo) and the standard summer squash, introduced to U.S. markets in the 1920s. Compact ever bearing bush plants are loaded with glossy green-black fruits with firm white flesh. Best eaten when less than 8″ long. This is an excellent variety for freezing. 1957
