This wood pen was cut from a single block of olive wood imported from Israel. I inlaid a thin and simple cross into the olive from African blackwood in a two-day process. I then turned it by hand on a lathe, shaping and sanding it up to 10k grit. It then underwent another 2-day staining process in black walnut stain, topped with a thin coat of 100% pure tung oil to make the grain pop.
It then received a durable 9-layer coat of cyanoacrylate coat buffed to a high shine to keep it looking great for years. I then placed it in a 24k gold plate setting with a jet black grip. This click pen writes smoothly in black ballpoint ink. And ink refills are available in any office supply store.
