“Duplicity”- With a solid upper in rich, red padauk wood and lower portion in a mirrored menagerie of common and exotic woods, this is a beautiful and unique pen.
This designer wood pen was made from padauk, Japanese Camphor, holly, zebra wood, black walnut, bloodwood and others painstakingly assembled in a beautiful abstract pattern. “Duplicity” fine writing pen underwent many hours of assembly before shaping and sanding by hand on a lathe. It received a thin coat of 100% pure tung oil to make the wood grains shimmer in the light before receiving 9 successive coats of durable, high-gloss cyanoacrylate to keep it looking great for years to come.
The clip and setting are 24k gold plate treated with an epoxy coating to keep it looking sharp for years. The smooth ballpoint pen opens with a twist and writes in black ink. The ink is replacable, ensuring this handcrafted wood pen will be cherished for years to come.
