“Crouching Tiger II” – This is a handsome handcrafted wood pen featuring zebra wood cut in a zig-zag pattern on one side and rich padauk on the other. This is a handsome wood pen any man would be proud to show off and use! ;D

The pen shaft started as a block of zebra wood and a block of padauk. The zebra wood was cut into 1/4″ deep blocks and fused into its zig-zag pattern. These were then affixed to the padauk backing. The assembly was then shaped and sanded by hand on a lathe. After sanding up to 10k grit, the wood received a thin coat of 100% pure tung oil brought out the grain. A 9-layer durable cyanoacrylate high-gloss finish topped off this beautiful wood pen.

The wood grain was re-aligned upon assembly. The setting is 25k gold with an epoxy coat for durability with smokey gun metal highlights. This wood pen opens with a twist and writes smoothly in black ballpoint ink. Ink refills are available in any office supply store. This pen will be cherished for years to come.
