This is a reworked original 1950s plate, working with the plate design I have added this humorous retro bird design.
The plate is made of a material which looks and feels half way between glass and ceramic! (I’m sure there’s a name for this but sorry I can’t tell you what it is!)
It is bigger than a side plate but smaller than a modern day dinner plate.
The painting is done with china paints and a black raised out-liner.
It is low temp fired for durability but is really intended for decorative use.
