Upcycled recycled Fanta bottle spoon rest. A clear Fanta bottle with crushed orange art glass fired inside it, then slumped to form a spoon rest. I wanted to make it look as though the Fanta bottle melted next to the stove still with a little Fanta inside. This is a super way to make old bottles useful and at the same time add a little colour and adventure to your stove top, or you could use it next to your basin to hold rings and odds and ends. This also makes a great rest for tealight candles.
The bottle has been kiln fired and slumped and then annealed for strength and durability. The bottle is 9.5 inches long and 3.5 inches wide (approximately 24cm by 9cm).
