A turquoise blue rim turns green as it trickles into the creamy orange lace pattern of a rose below. The square saucer or desert plate that it sits on echoes the same glaze colors and patterns found in the large pottery coffee mug.

This lace textured, 16 oz stoneware pottery mug has a handle that fits a full fingered grip. The interior has been glazed in a white glaze.

First rolled out as a slab, textured with lace and then rolled up into a cylinder, this pottery mug was then hand thrown to achieve its curvy shape. Fired to 2300 degrees F. It is microwave and dishwasher safe and perfect for hot drinks and soups.

The mug has a rim diameter of 3 5/8″ (9.3cm) and a height of about 4 1/4″ (10.8cm) and it holds 16 ounces.

The saucer which is the size of a small desert plate measures 5 3/4″ x 6″ x 1/2″ (14.6cm x 15.2cm x 1.3cm).
