Tall Two Tone Jar on Handmade Artists’ Shop.

 This is a 26 inch tall lidded jar. It is made of Stoneware clay and consists of two sprayed ash glazes layered in combination with a poured glaze called Malcolm Davis shino. This glaze has a two tone variance within itself of medium to light shiny browns. In the ash glazed vertical block, it is of a green mottled texture. It has been reduction fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln.
