Actually this Gemmed Summer Shrug is a hybrid between a jewel and a garment. It is a light shrug in silverly grey that was crochetted with the drilled Blue Sandstones in it. (Have a look further the note on the Blue Sandstones).

The Gemmed Summer Shrug is a perfect accessory to an evening gown or just an elegant feminine complement to a daily dress. A great boho accessory. Can be worn with jeans too as well with black pants or with shimmering silver.

When I designed these clothings I was led by the idea how to make it possible wear the stones right over the body and close to the skin and thus made it possible to use those special powers the semi-precious stones have. Well, I’m very happy and proud of the result. It is a great energy healing device as well.

The Blue Sandstone (a.k.a. Star Stone or Arenite)

Most blue sandstone is composed of quartz or feldspar – the most common minerals in the Earth’s crust.

SIZES:

The Gemmed Summer Shrug can be worn by a range of body type.
If you are size M it will cover you rarms down to the wrist (ad on the model pictured).
If you are X or XL, then the sleeves will be 7/8ts.
The important is that you will have an arm (under the armpit) no larger then 14,56″ (37 cm)

(To compare, the woman on the picture is size M and has a circle of arm under the armpit of 10,62″ (27 cm) and bust 33,85″ (86 cm).

The Gemmed Summer Shrug full length is 52,75” (134 cm). Its width at the back is 14,96” (38 cm).

Fits for bust circle between 33,85” (86 cm) and 39,37” (100 cm).
Or for back width no more then 22,83″ (58 cm).

MATERIALS:

Artificial silk cordonette with a metallic thread in. Don’t worry – it is absolutely tender to skin, a thread for crochet cloths.
Drilled sandstone chips.

CARE:

Wash the bolero sleeves in lukewarm water not more then 86°F (30°C) with a liquid detergent. Dry flat on a towel. Do not twist. Do not bleach. Do not iron.
Avoid that the garment falls on rough ground in case not to harm any of the stones.
