Stamped one letter at time in the shape of a rolling wave, this sterling silver anticlastic cuff bracelet features an inspirational quote from Louisa May Alcott, “far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead.”

The cuff bracelet was sawed by hand with a jewelry saw as a flat 1.5 inch wide band from 18 gauge sterling silver and pressed into hard neoprene with a steel die at .25 inch intervals to create the anticlastic shape, while forming the bracelet by pressing upward with my hands. For a classy comfortable fit, the end tabs were highly rounded and edges filed smooth by hand. A black patina was used to darken the lettering in the Louisa May Alcott quote for increased contrast and legibility against the radiant mirror finish.

Measuring 6 inches long by 1.5 inches wide and weighing more than 2 troy ounces, the cuff bracelet will fit a medium sized wrist and can be ordered with a personalized fit in any size by noting your wrist circumference or bracelet size in the check out notes. The Alcott quote is approximately 160 characters or 33 words.
