These stainless steel earrings are dramatic and elegant with a mildly industrial feel. They are made of 16 gauge stainless steel jumprings woven into a lovely pattern known as barrel weave. They are recommended for someone who is accustomed to wearing medium weight earrings as they do have a slight heft.
These earrings were tumbled for more than 30 hours to remove burs and rough edges, then again for another 14 hours to bring them to a high polish shine. The stainless rings are nearly as bright as sterling silver but at a much more affordable price. The fourth and fifth photos are excellent representations of the bright silver color of the stainless rings.
Each earring hangs from a leverback earwire that closes securely in the back. All components of these chainmail earrings are made of stainless steel, so they resist damage and will never tarnish.
