Sistine 1 Cross Stitch Pattern

The Sistine 1 cross stitch pattern evokes the grand artistry of the master artist Michelangelo. It is based on an original chalk and charcoal drawing by Dana Batho, and is the first of a two-part series done during a master drawing class in New Zealand. The pattern is only 8 colours, and replicates the directional line work and shading of the original drawing perfectly. It will be 14″ x 20″ if stitched on 14 count fabric. The pattern uses only full stitches (no fractionals or backstitch), so even those with basic cross stitching experience can complete it. Sistine 1 is the perfect piece to add a timeless yet dramatic focal point to any decor. And it is a PDF download, so you can start your newest stitching project straight away!
