These handmade silver earrings feature stylised forget me not flowers, which dangle from little silver semi hoops. They were inspired by the beautiful blue flowers which bloom in our garden every summer.

In the language of flowers, forget me nots symbolise true love and memories, making these striking and individual earrings the perfect gift for a loved one. They would also make a lovely gift for a bridesmaid or flower girl if you’re planning a summer wedding. Or maybe you just want to treat yourself!

The flowers were cut by hand from silver sheet, and very gently domed. At the centre of each is a tiny ball of silver. The flowers were polished to a high shine, then oxidised until they turned a light slate-grey colour. The oxidisation has been rubbed back from the earring wires, the backs of the flowers, and the little ball in the centre. The patina within the flower shapes provides a stunning contrast with these polished silver surfaces.
