This bracelet features an oxidised copper oak leaf, teamed with a polished silver bangle.

The oak leaf was cut from copper sheet, and the lines of veins were impressed onto the surface. The leaf was oxidised, then partly rubbed back, allowing some of the copper surface to show through, but leaving some areas with oxidisation. The dark oxidised surface has also remained in the impressions, emphasising the veins of the leaf.

The leaf also functions as a clasp, as the silver bangle hooks through it. This allows the bracelet to be put on and taken off without having to go over the hand, so it fits the wrist quite neatly. The diameter of the bracelet is 6cm (2.3 inches), and the leaf is 5cm (1.9 inches) by a maximum of 2cm (0.7 inches). The bangle is 1.8mm diameter silver round wire, which has been slightly flattened.
