Bright Royal  Blue and White Pearl glow on this unique one of a kind hand painted glass ornament.

Small sections at a time, the pretty blue swirls are hand painted, left to dry, then another small section and left to dry, continuing on until I have achieved a nice design all over.  Then small sections are filled in with the white pearl.  Both colors have 2 – 3 coats, finishing with a very carefully done blue.

After carefully cleaning off the original paint,  this reclaimed vintage  2 1/2″ silver lined ornament has been carefully hand painted with quality durable glass paints.   The silver lining gives the glass paints a glow that is hard to capture in photographs.  **Note the darker bottom portion in the photos, is caused by shadows, the paint is the same color all around.  The “pitting”  on one of the blue swirls in the last picture, is a trick of the camera or lighting, it really isn’t pitted, or have any other flaws.

This beauty has about 6 very very small silvery gray spots (1mm or less) that are visible through the paint due to the age of the ornament, they add to the vintage feel of the ornament, and do not detract from it at all.

All of my artistic collector ornaments are one of a kind creations.  There may be similar designs, but each one is unique.  The durable glass paints make them a lovely keepsake.
