This bracelet is made of ‘dancing’ freshwater pearls dyed a very pale mauve color and are threaded with sterling silver disk beads and tiny cream colored glass seed beads. ‘Dancing’ pearls are top-drilled and are called such in the trade because when strung together they alternate directions and give the appearance of movement. These round pearls are also flat on one side. In comparison, rice shaped ‘dancing’ pearls are cylindrical. To me, they look like leaves or buds on a vine. This 8 inch bracelet is finished with a beautiful sterling silver toggle (made in Israel) and safety chain.
