This piece has three pieces of natural sea glass (found on a beach, not sandblasted or tumbled) in mounts created from hand sewn beads, the three pieces are then connected with sections of bead weaving. The necklace is finished with some free-form bead weaving including some vintage crystal beads. The necklace is fastened with a beaded loop and a lenticular bead.
Inspired by pools on my local beach which are often connected by little rivulets at low tide, where springs rise through the stones.
I’m very proud to say that this piece was featured in the book “Showcase 500 beaded Jewellery” published by Lark books.
