These beautiful lily flowers were another find in Tucson this year. These are handcarved from red jasper. They are that beautiful southwest red you see in the cliffs of Arizona and Utah and there is some faint black veining running throughout. At the lily opening I added one of my hand made, balled, argentium sterling silver headpins and a turquoise bead. These are very lightweight and measure almost 1 1/2″ (3.8 cm) from the top of the ear wires to the bottom of the flower. They hang from sterling silver shepherds hook style ear wires.
