I love, love, love the fabric on this quilt with all the brightly colored owls. It makes for the ideal receiving blanket measuring 35 X 42 which is perfectly sized for swaddling. This blanket has been quilted together using the block square pattern giving the blanket a quilted look rather then just two pieces of fabric sewn together like most receiving blankets. This blanket does not have any batting in the middle thus making it lightweight and perfect for year-round use.
The top piece is made from cotton fabric in white, green blue, orange,peach, yellow and brown with an assortment of owls.The backing is a coordinating cotton fabric in brown with white polka dots.. The edging is the same brown fabric as the backing.
Love the owl baby blanket. Was wondering how much you would charge to make one for my daughter. Not sure if she is having a boy or a girl. Is it possible to make the backing a yellow?
