I combined the rustic and the refined in this design. I just LOVE these purple, grey and white, etched, artist made lampwork rings. These rings were the start for the design. They have a gray base with some gorgeous purple and white melted in. They are etched to give them an aged, rustic feel. Above them is something that really is old! A petrified dinosaur bone bead. I like the rough texture that it has and being a fossil makes it even more interesting. For a bit of refined elegance I added some gorgeous amethyst gemstones. Above the dinosaur bone sits a gem quality, dark amethyst bead. Below the ring hangs a gem quality, step-faceted amethyst oval. I just love the gorgeous gems mixed with the etched lampwork and ancient dinosaur bone! They are all securely wire wrapped with sterling silver wire. They hang from sterling silver, hook style ear wires. They hang down 2 1/4″ (5.7 cm).
