This is a recycled glass vase made into glass-on-glass mosaic poinsettia vase / candle holder using stained glass scrap — 100% recycled materials.

I made an abstract poinsettia designs on every side of this vase / candle holder using variety of reds, greens and gold stained glass scrap pieces. Each glass piece is hand cut, glued to a recycled rectangular clear glass vase, and grouted light gray. Before grout dried out, I sprinkled a little silver glitter to give an extra sparkle to this festive mosaic designs. Grout is sealed for moisture protection.

This vase makes a beautiful table centerpiece as a vase adorned year-round with flowers; Light it with a couple of tealight candles and it becomes a stunning stained glass poinsettia display, or keep it in the window — the unique stained glass pieces are all transparent with unique textures, exposing different shades of green, yellow and red.
