Pepper, Orange Bell AKA (Capsicum annuum) is the best tasting orange bell pepper we have grown. It was given to SSE by member Alex Heklar in 1989. Blocky 4 inch bell peppers have thick walls and excellent flavor. It is heavy yielding and can also be eaten green. 90 days from transplant. SWEET! Sow seeds indoors ¼ inch deep. Peppers germinate best in warm soil, so gentle bottom heat may be helpful until seedlings emerge. Wait to transplant outdoors until soil is warm. Planted correctly you will have 10 great producers.
