Iridescent copper green and bright blue peacock body feathers were used to create this hummingbird mask.

The base is handmade paper mache with a reinforced beak. The paper mache was covered in several coats of acrylic gesso before glossy black paint with touches of gold was applied. Over 100 hand trimmed feathers were then added. A re-purposed floral button forms a “third eye.”

The mask measures 5 1/4 across and 3 inches wide not including the feather extensions. Please make sure that will fit your face before ordering as the masks curves for a nice snug fit. It comes with a partially lined felt back and sheer black tie ribbons.
