Painted Art Quilt – Beautiful quilted wall hanging started out as white on white cotton. It has been painted with premium Jacquard textile paints in shades of yellow, pink, turquoise and green. The two birds and flowers were then enhanced from the backround colors. This unique fiber art combines the best of two worlds – hand painting and quilting.

It has been quilted in a meandering stipple pattern. The binding is also handpainted cotton to coordinate with the quilt. The backing is a soft blue commercial fabric.

Ready to hang. I’ve added two corner pockets on the back to make hanging your quilt a breeze. Slip a dowel rod or straight current rod in the pockets and it’s ready to hang!

Measures 20-1/2″ x 17″. The paint is permanent, but I recommend just vacuuming it for dust occassionally. Should you wish to launder, use cold water on gentle cycle and lay flat to dry.
