Modern Resin & Wood Fusion Earrings

The wood of these luminous olive green resin earrings has been hand carved from wood from my local tropical beach. It has been sanded to a smooth finish.

No two pairs of earrings are alike as every piece of wood is unique. These earrings have been completely made by hand – no power tools were used.

The resin drops have been crafted from jewellery grade resin and been sanded and polished to a soft sheen. The drops are attached to handmade brass ear wires that have been lightly hammered. The ends of the ear wires have been filed to a smooth point.

Length (including ear wires): 4.9 cm / 1.9 inches.

The resin drops are 2.7 cm / 1 inch long.

Small imperfections and bubbles are part of the charm of handmade resin jewellery. The brass wire will continue to oxidise to a lovely antique gold colour.
