Green glass necklace with unique handmade niobium chain. These green glass beads are nearly transparent with and irregular triangle “nugget” shape. Niobium is allergy safe and will not tarnish or corrode. The natural color of niobium is steel gray. A matching bracelet and pair of earrings are available with this necklace. 19 inch / 48 cm long.
Each bead grouping is capped with small pewter beads and spaced with an interlocking jumpring pattern – a simple chainmaille design that adds strength and body to this substantial necklace. When the chain gets beyond the beads, I have switched to a figure-8 link. To create this part of the chain, I have doubled the links, and reversed each pair. The result is a chain of amazing beauty and durability.
