Meet Midas the ogre. Midas got his name from his special golden ear – be careful, if that ear touches you, you might just turn to gold! 

Midas has been created from a custom ice dye that I did in rich colors of purples, blues, pinks and yellow on a soft, cuddly, cotton velour. All machine sewing is done in triple stitch in dark purple/contrasting thread. 

Midas has a doll safety jointed neck, letting him look all around at the amazing world around him. His arms and legs are string jointed using upholstery thread that is doubled up for extra strength. Midas has a sculpted face and his eyes are sewn in, also with upholstery thread. 

Midas has poly bead weighted feet and a weighted belly, and all stuffing is a premium polyfill. Midas is one of our small size ogres, standing at only about 9″ tall.
