Absolutely stunning and original hand painted and woodburned mermaid wine box.
This lovely piece of functional art is a one of a kind piece, first hand drawn on the box, then engraved via a woodburning pen, and hand painted in light washes of color so the natural grain shows through.
The sides and back are also painted, with a sunset on the back and her tail and a little shell on the sides.

the box has also been sealed with two coats of satin finish sealer for durability.

The box is made from pauwlonia wood, and is very lightweight.
It measures 14 inches long by 4.5 inches wide, and 4 inches deep.
