Bright, large Chine bone Turquoise, red heart, bone, metal and crystal frame the vivid focal beads in this necklace and earring set. The necklace is 16″ including the 2″ dangle and the earrings dangle a little under 2″. The set is very light weight and the handmade beads are glossy thick like glass with out the weight of glass.

The Rainbow Medicine Wheel or shield has long been a symbol of unity, the unity of the people and all the elements of the earth. All things are connected.

These very special beads are offered only once or twice a year and by custom order. The beads are hand painted using porcupine quills. I have three basic designs – The Swirls using a beautiful variation of the Pysanky Egg drop-pull techniques. Ornate Filigree, and the detailed painting pieces like my Medicine Wheels.

Each bead is made with recycled wood and dipped in a very special glaze that gives them a thick glass like finish and protects the delicate painting underneath. There are no other beads like them. May these beads carry their blessings into your world and into your designs.
