This is simplistic, elegant living at its finest! Standing 6 inches tall, and 3 inches wide at the base, widening to a 6 inch wide roof, the whimsical shape of the house alone, is so enchanting. This base of this fairy dwelling is solid wood. All four sides of the Maple Bark Woodland Fairy Cabin are covered in small gray stone and greren moss. Hand cut twigs, with a small pebble serving as a tiny doorknob to this humble abode, create the perfect entryway to this cabin. The roof is made from pieces of maple bark, with green moss tucked in for added interest and texture.  This house has four stained glass windows…one on each side. The front and back windows are both a beautiful teal color, which compliments this little cabin perfectly; and this teal glass is also textured to make the windows “pop” even more. The two side windows are both a beautiful soft, cream color, which create the warmest, coziest glow when the light is on. Each window was hand cut, and handcut twigs were used to frame them.  All of the stained glass for my pieces are from the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Shop, the oldest in the United States. You cannot find this glass anywhere else in the world!  This piece does come with your choice of a battery operated LED tealight, or a corded light with a switch and a 6 foot cord. I have recently added the option to choose the battery operated LED lights, which provide a much softer, subtle glow, and with no cord to fuss with, they are ideal for fairy gardens! All materials used in my pieces are recycled and eco friendly. No plants or trees were harmed in making any of my products.**Please note that all items are made to order, handmade with natural items.
