A handmade 14 kt gold filled bezel encircles this 1976 Italian 100 Lire coin. The bezel has been shaped at the top to accommodate a 14 kt gold corrugated decorative bail.  The front of this coin shows the Roman Goddess Minerva with a wreath around her head facing left. On the reverse of the coin is the image of the Roman Goddess Minerva (Athena in Greek mythology) holding an olive tree facing left.  Minerva is the Roman goddess of wisdom, medicine, the arts, science and trade, but also of war.  A a 14 kt gold filled 18 inch link chain is included with this pendant.
