This ADORABLE little fairy cottage truly captures the essence of Christmas.  What better way to add to your Christmas Decor, than this adorable little cottage…Not only is it absolutely gorgeous to look at, it will give the fairies a safe haven, away from the harsh elements of the winter season, to enjoy the holidays. Standing 5.5″ tall by 5.5″ wide, it is the perfect fairy size! Small pebbles adorn all four sides of this cottage. The front door is festive and inviting, made from hand cut Russain Sage twigs, framed in Grapevine.  A small pebble makes the perfect little handle for this Christmas cottage, and an adorable red bow, coated in gold fairy dust, and a green gemstone, is carefully placed above the door to bring even more Holiday Cheer to this piece. This piece has three windows, one on the front, and one on each side. Each window pane is made from hand cut stained glass, specifically chosen for the perfect warmth and glow when this little cottage is lit. Hand cut twigs frame out each window.  All of the stained glass for my pieces are from the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Shop, the oldest in the United States. You cannot find this glass anywhere else in the World!  The roof is made from cedar moss and a soft brown moss.  The sweetest little christmas lights line the front and both sides of the roof…after all, what’s Christmas without lights!  The fairies went all out decorating their little cottage, as they carefully placed a solid wooden star, covered in gold pixie dust, at the tip top of the roof.  The cottage was lightly coated in “spray snow” to complete the winter/holiday theme.  This piece does come with your choice of a battery operated LED tealight, or a corded light with a switch and a 6 foot cord. I have recently added the option to choose the battery operated LED lights, which provide a much softer, subtle glow, and with no cord to fuss with, they are ideal for fairy gardens! This piece is a MUST HAVE for anyone who loves all things fairy, miniature, or Christmas!
