This lovely piece of jewelry is worked in the most traditional technique . I used two types of silver wire to make this pendant. A flat wire to form the pattern, and a very fine double wire twisted and flattened for the filigree filling. I also worked a frame to insert the cameo in it and finished it with a twisted wire around it.

Filigree is a very old technique in jewellery making, and each piece takes quite ammount of hours to make and have an excellent finish. The process starts with melting the silver, making the wire and I also do the silver solder. Then with a tweezer and an open flame burner I produce this unique jewellery.
