This 32 inch round handmade mosaic mirror was created with seven different colored tiles – poppy (orange), green, brown, purple, white and green swirls, and several shades of white including a white metallic and a white iridescent. The piece was grouted in white, polished, and sealed several times.

Each custom mosaic mirror is made from scratch. I use a sturdy substrate (either primed wood or wedi board depending where the mirror will be used) Next I have a mirror cut to size (beveled or flat), hand cut the glass tiles, and apply them individually. After placing all the tiles and grouting, each piece of mosaic tile is polished and the entire mirror frame is protected with multiple coats of sealant so any possible moisture does not warp or stain the grout. The sides and the back are painted a corresponding color, and hanging hardware is attached securely to the back.
