This handcrafted wood pen features a hickory and copper Celtic knot in rich cocobolo wood in a conservative gun metal and black setting. It’s an beatiful tribute to the Celtic tradition. ;D

This writing instrument is very comfortable in the hand. It has a gently tapering form, sturdy in the hand without being cumbersome or tiring. Its premium Parker (r) style ballpoint tip glides over paper. It’s a joy to use.

Starting as a blank of rich cocobolo wood, each ring of the hickory and copper inlay Celtic knot was placed in a 1-cut-per-day method. The pen was shaped and sanded by hand on a lathe up to 10k grit. It then received a thin coat of 100% pure tung oil to enrich the deep cocobolo grain.

This pen was finished with a satin gloss wax, which really brings you in touch with the fine wood. This pen is named Aegneis, Celtic for “pure.” 

While Aegneis comes loaded with a black ink cartridge, Parker ink refills are available in any office supply store. It’s beautiful look will ensure this

fine writing wood pen will be cherished for many years to come.

Please note that Aegneis does have a flaw, which has been reflected in the price. A small piece of the inner tube is exposed on the pen’s upper portion, filled with cyanoacrylate. The flaw is covered by the clip and is barely visible in the second photograph.
