This great whitetail deer skull or European was legally harvested in Arkansas and cleaned with dermisted beetles. The beetles are very easy on the bone and also preserve all the cartilage, especially around the nose area, which is sometimes lost if you try to clean by boiling or soaking in hot water. Once the beetles have finished their work, it’s time for us to start ours!

We degrease and deodorize the skull and finally, we whiten the bone to remove the last traces of yellowing that occurs naturally.

Then, this skull was hand painted a beautiful orange color and then we painted a tribal pattern in black. A black leather band was added at the base of each antler. It is mounted on an old piece of barn wood and ready to hang in your home or office. Hanger is installed.

Skull measures 10 1/2 inches long and about 4 1/2 inches at the widest point. This is an 6 point. The antlers measure 11 inches wide on the inside, and 12 inches on the outside.
