Hand made from start to finish……From the design, 2 Dandelions with seeds blowing and seeds on the back, the making of the organiser. Hand dyed to create a two-tone effect in Ox blood Red, and polished using beeswax from the Beachy Head area close to where we live.
This is one of our latest designs, inspired from our childhood games, blowing the dandelion heads and watching the ‘fairies’ fly, and playing ‘What’s the Time Mr Wolf’, each puff of the dandelion head meant the ‘Wolf’ could creep nearer and nearer before the chase began! We love the form of the dandelion head when in it’s fluffy state and setting seed, watching it in the breeze as the seeds float away is such a pretty sight.
