This is a glass bluebird sculptural bead. The bird is made of transparent light blue glass, and beautifully captures the light. The bluebird is crafted as if in mid-flight, with open wingspan. There are textural ridges on the wings and tail to add interest and detail. This bird bead has rounded wings and tail.

The bead hole is oriented vertically, and I have added a small wire eye pin for easy stringing onto a necklace or chain. The chain pictured here is not included with the listing.

The bird has a 30mm wingspan, and is 35mm long from beak to tail, with a 1.6 mm wide bead hole (1/16 in).

All glass beads are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln to ensure maximal strength and stability.
