Dichroic glass contains multiple micro layers of metals or oxides. It has a particular transmitted color and a completely different reflected color which causes many colors to be displayed. Depending on the angle of view the colors shift.

This is a beautiful piece and it looks like a golden snakeskin. I used a black base with dichoric in the middle and topped with a piece of clear glass which is fused together multiple times and fire polished for durability
