The chain is made with bright anodized aluminum rings so it is very light weight and comfortable to wear. I choose to use aluminum because it is lead and nickle free so even someone with sensitive skin or metal allergies can wear it. The lobster claw clasp is a nice, secure stainless steel clasp.
