A perfect gift for a musician or Church worker, this Finnish Star ornament was created using pages from a vintage 1949 Church Hymnal. The diameter of this ornament is 5 1/2″. Twenty strips of paper were folded into fourths and glued to give this ornament stability. Those strips were then used to weave this Finnish Star pattern.

I completed the ornament with a black ribbon for hanging. It is very lightweight and would be a lovely addition to your Christmas tree or would also be pretty hanging from an ornament stand on a desk or bookshelf.

Each one of these will be unique as they are each made from a variety of hymnal pages
