Related to Fairies, Elves, and Gnomes, Down East Nubblers are characterized by their ample beards and colorful buoy hats. They are whimsical, mischievous, and full of Moxie, lobster, and Whoopie Pies!

These little Maine folk live on tiny uninhabited islands called nubbles, in down east Maine. They love to come ashore at night and watch over sleeping children and play with family pets. Nubblers make a unique Maine remembrance or gift, and are soon to become the subject of a new children’s book!
Maine is known for Moxie, lobster, Whoopie Pies, and now for the Down East Nubblers!
