Customized Retro Skinny Ties. My mom, Sandra, and I create handcrafted items including bead and wire jewelry and other hand crocheted items for sale on Etsy.com. Today, we are featuring our “made-to-order” Retro Crocheted Skinny Ties. These were all the rage back in the 20s and 50s and are now seeing a come-back. We hand crocheted each tie using Caron Simply Soft machine-washable, machine-dryable and hypoallergenic yarn. This is a very nice yarn for ties as it is not too thick, feels soft to the touch and holds it’s shape and color even after being washed and dried. We do suggest that you put your crocheted ties in a mesh bag before washing and drying to keep them from wrapping around your other items.

We can make them with one color, two colors, a variegated color or even a mixture of solid and variegated yarn. And you can request either a rounded bottom or pointed bottom for the ends of your customized tie. If you would like two colors of yarn then you can specify which color should dominate such as more of one color in the middle with just highlights around the edges of the tie or evenly distribute the colors. You can request a 1-inch, 1-1/2 inch or 2-inch wide tie and in any length that you need from 52 inches to 80 inches long.

These are great for both men and women and will enhance your look every day of the week. This is also a nice gift for those men/women who are a little bit under or over what is considered normal sized in a department store. Finally, we are only charging $20 per tie with $4.00 shipping. Currently, we only ship to customers in the U.S., and will send a tracking number from the U.S. Postal Service once your package is mailed.
