This is a fully handcrafted, artisan made, leather wallet. It has a simple bi-fold two pocket design. The wallet will easily accomodate 4-5 cards and some cash; A great retro minimalist accessory! It is equally suited as a gift for a man or a woman

It is entirely handmade. Everything from cutting out the leather, to punching the wholes, to stitching it together was done by me using traditional hand tools (many of them antiques). First I buff and polish the surface of the leather. I then measure out the pattern with an awl. The pieces are then cut out free hand with a traditional knife. Holes for the stitching are punched using special pronged chisels. Then the pieces are painstakingly sewn, one stitch at a time, using the strongest saddle stitch. The edges are then finished using a proprietary blend of gums, waxes, and oils. This durable construction takes much longer, and is more expensive, than using thinner cheaper leather and machine stitching, but it is built to last.

The wallet is made from heavy duty 6oz waxed Horween leather, tanned right here in the USA. This leather wears and ages beautifully over time. And due to the durable construction, you’ll be handing this wallet down as an heirloom.
