This mosaic was created using wedi board as a substrate. The outside border is 1 inch white glass tiles. The inside “L” is made up of hand cut black glass tiles in a scroll font. The colorful mosaic border was created using hand cut “grass” (green) and “sky” (blue) tiles along with white and black. Small 3/8″ black tiles form a secondary border. The piece was grouted in white, painted black on the sides and back, and hardware was attached. The mosaic was sealed several times.
