This pretty little copper and silver necklace captures a single cherry blossom flower, and teams it with russet coloured carnelian bead.
The blossom has been cut from sheet copper, very slightly domed, and given a rustic oxidised finish. The centre of the flower had been pierced out with a tiny drill, and a very fine saw blade. It hangs from an oxidised silver circle, together with a single carnelian bead, threaded onto silver wire.
Carnelian is a very pretty tawny brown semi precious stone. It is one of the birthstones for the month of July.
