This is a fused heart trinket, keepsake or jewelry box. A shiny silver border with wispy light blue opaque and semi-transparent wispy dark blue glass surrounding a fused blue heart glass make up this very bright fun box.
The sides and bottom of this box have same light blue opaque wispy glass as the four corners of the lid The bottom of the box is made from the same blue glass as inset into the sides. The blue heart in the center of the lid is fused to a blue stripped opaque piece of glass. I’ve made many of these in various colors, shapes and sizes and are practical enough to store anything, even your craft items. I’ve added the same silver colored lid chain (as shown) in order to keep the lid upright. Clear rubber feet are also attached to ensure no harm comes to this piece or your furniture.

Size is 5 x 5 x 2 inches.

I use the Tiffany copper foil method of stained glass, and then brightly polish the solder. Each piece of glass is cut by me. I cut the pieces of the heart and then fuse the glass in order to create the center of this box. It’s an extra step to take; however, I like to “fuse” mediums together to see what happens. I think incorporating fused glass into my stained glass creations gives the pieces a little more depth and most importantly look totally groovy!
