A Colorful Blue Stained Glass Mosaic Candle Holder / Vase with blue dahlia flower design.

I used a recycled clear glass vase to make this unique colorful candle holder / vase. A variety of recycled textured stained glass scrap was used to create floral designs: blues, greens, reds, yellows, browns, greens and teal. Each piece of glass is hand cut to create two elegant dahlia flowers with glass pebbles in the center as focal points (on two sides of the vase). Deep browns and reds fill in the background complementing the blue/green/teal dahlias. Grouted dark gray and sealed for moisture protection.

This candle holder/vase is made with recycled materials only: a clear glass vase and textured stained glass scrap. Every glass piece is transparent and most pieces have textured unique surface. A tea light candle will light up this unique colorful glass mosaic to a beautiful ray of colors. It also looks amazing when the light shines through it on the window. It makes a unique flower vase (perhaps for dahlias?!).
