Handmade solid genuine mahogany wooden wall cross with cobalt blue stained glass mosaic inlay.

This cross is beautifully handcrafted from genuine Honduras mahogany by my father in his small woodshop. Mahogany is considered to be the king of hardwood because of its extreme density and durability. This cross is finished natural to show lustrous straight, fine grain and deep rich red color that is characteristic to aged mahogany.

I finished this finely handcrafted wooden cross with cobalt, light blue, and copper Van Gogh stained glass pieces that beautifully complement mahogany wood. Each glass piece is hand cut, laid into the wooden cross in an abstract mosaic design, grouted charcoal gray and sealed.

The colors of wood and glass become very rich and vibrant in the bright light. The combination of two mediums — solid wood and stained glass — makes this cross wall decor very unique and one-of-a-kind.

It has a unique keyhole on the back that is made with an old Lithuanian coin (litas). Signed on the back.
