Happiness radiates from these citrine dangle earrings called “Visage de Soleil”. The French name is taken from the all too cute charms which depicts a smiling sun face in an oval gold-plated charm. The word visage means showing face or round face. The word soleil means “in the sun”. If that is not enough to make you smile I attached these sweet charms to a hand-wrapped links using natural, very pale yellow faceted citrine nuggets. Rising above the citrine nuggets are gold-plated wrapped bead cones that sweep up a full inch off the citrine. Small gold-plated beads are used above and below the link.

The entire link is attached to 14k 1/20 gold-filled flat ear wires. Do not confuse these with gold-plated. To create gold-filled, solid gold is rolled out into a sheet and then applied to a base metal through heat – applying a thick plate of gold. With care, these could last you for many years.
